Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actor, singer and songwriter. When she was a kid Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by many people in America. As she entered the 9th grade she began to feel more secure after being applauded by her teachers for her performance at school's audition. Not only did it boost her confidence, but also her goals changed. She attended the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail, were her biggest breaks. In the Broadway first production of Spamalot, she played The Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. Following that, in 2007 she was cast in the ABC program Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. As a well-known singer, she has also released both songs and plays. She is an activist who strives for LGBT equality.
